It's Almost Dawn

Why are politically driven issues like sustainability, climate change, equality — and their solutions, doomed to fail?

We fail to see the broader perspective when our minds remain confined to a narrow narrative. Consider the dichotomies of mainstream versus alternative or good versus evil — they often oversimplify the complexity of reality.

This is by design.
Getting out is the challenge.

There is no such thing as good or evil. These programmed opposites converge from, and towards, the same point. Pointing fingers at each other won't work. The truth is that we are cosmic infants, helpless, barely able to move around, seeking and accepting guidance from anyone and anything who can offer it to us. Cheap, greedy, stupid, but with good intentions at heart; falling into a spiral of dependence.

In our conscious revolution, we've become aware of ourselves; our 'I', our senses, our physical presence and its place amidst the developing minds' understanding of the universe. Yet, throughout this ongoing journey, we're forgetting what we are and where we come from. Now, collectively, we are stuck in a downwards spiral, ready to conform to our undecided reality.

It's one second to midnight,
and we've yet to conquer our self-consciousness.

Getting out means getting in. We won't find the answers outside of ourselves. As history has proven time and again that external solutions to external problems creates more external problems. It's vital to understand and soothe our internal being in order to get closer to ourselves and each other; the shared universal origin binding us together.

Perhaps, once we've reached a certain evolutionary pressure, we'll finally understand that discussions on topics like sustainability, climate change, equality and so forth, hold no inner value. It is when we finally start taking ownership over our self-consciousness, becoming unconscious in the conscious mind, that the external issues — as creations of the conscious mind — will resolve themselves bottom-up, naturally and positively.

The negativity of existence,
becomes the positivity of being.

Like primitive man before us, becoming self-conscious watching the sun at dawn, so will modern man initiate the next stage; our long awaited return to nature, where we can be in, and with, harmony among ourselves — our Garden of Eden.
